They won't let us take pictures, but if you have any questions you want me to ask, or specific things to get a look at, post them here and I'll do what I can. Posts: 0 08/25/04 18:57:01	Ken, I have hull #899. It has been sitting at the dealer since August 4th. The mast was damaged, ie: bolts fell out of the furling gear and the spindle hammered the bolts from LA to Vancouver Canada. The inside of the mast extrusion looked like a winch drum... I can't find out when my new mast will be shipped. Can you find out. It may come on the truck with your boat, whenever. Thank Pierre

I can't imagine (and hope I don't find out) what it's like to have a powerboat with a hole in the top <grin> sitting in the yard. I'll poke around and see what they say. You are probably right that it will come up with the next boat. The question is what's on the list. I don't think Performance in Bellingham is expecting anything before mine shows up. Posts: 0 08/27/04 15:34:27	The tour was short, but decent. "No pictures" is a standard policy. The refrigerators are insulated by a low density foam that is sprayed between the liner and hull. I think they may use the same stuff in the rudders. I wasn't able to come up with info on the electric halyard winch, other than to say that there is probably a plate in there for the regular winch. I'm not sure what more you'd need for an electric winch. Pierre: No help on the mast. Although I did find out that the furling masts are supplied by someone else, where the standard masts are all built by Catalina. We saw hulls from about 904 to 912, give or take a few. 877 was on a trailer in the parking lot, probably headed to the east coast.
