Norm Perron who is our webmaster, former Commodore of the 42 Association and all around good guy and a friend to all of us has asked me to let you all know that he recently had a tragic accident while working on his mast. Norm unfortunately fell from the lower spreader and landed on his tailbone fracturing many bones in his body. He was rushed to the emergency room at UCLA where they performed surgery to correct the trauma his body went through. Fortunately, he has no neurological damage nor broken bones and other than a good 6 to 9 months of re-hab and physical therapy he will once again be able to sail his beloved boat with his beloved wife Charlene. In the meantime, once he feels up to it he wants to get back on the forum and explain what happened and his new safety procedures to all of you so that something like this doesn't happen again.
So send him some good vibes or post a note to him on this thread and toast his recuperation efforts and especially...be careful out there.
