A Catalina 42 is now racing across the pacific to Hawaii and are now 2nd in class and 2nd in fleet. The boat is named Far Niente out of Dana Pt. Ca. and owned
by Patrick Hearne. They had a first day run of 110 miles so they now have 2,115 miles to go. Believe it or not but the one boat that is correcting out on them
is a Catalina 38 with a first days run of 108 miles so the Catalina family should be pretty happy right now.
