Hello Catalina 42 Owners around the SF Bay Area,
Ok, here are some updates to next Friday's gathering at the Oakland sailboat show.
As mentioned before, it will be held in the tents at the Garhauer Marine booth #540 at 1700 hours. Since that is typically happy hour time, there will be free wine/beer and snacks for all 42 owners. How happy is that?? Plus, there will be a drawing for a $100.00 gift certificate to Garhauer Marine to a bay area 42 owner so don't miss the chance of getting some new boat jewelry for your sweetheart....I mean your boat.
This will be a great time to join other owners and find some common racing and cruising activities that you can schedule for the upcoming season as well as discuss boat projects and improvements that you have made. Most of the National officers such as Commodore Ken Fischer, Secretary, Tino Lanza, Staff Commodore - and always helpful - Norm Perron will be there and Gerry Douglas may stop by also - he has a 42 after all! Bill and Mary Felgenhauer and sons Doug and Mark - owners of Garhauer will of course be there and help you with any hardware projects that you may want to start.
So we all look forward to meeting everyone there and we ask one favor and that is so that we can plan this event properly, pls respond to this thread and let us know how many of you are planning to attend. It will be very helpful.
