I thought some of you might get a kick out of pictures of my boat taken during the recent Double Handed Farallones island race outside the Golden Gate.
Conditions were challenging 
with large seas and winds over 30kts at
times. There were 3 C42's in the race and we all finished, 25% of the starting fleet didn't finish. The C42 does well in these conditions. One Olsen
40 boat was lost when the crew were thrown overboard and it sailed off without them. The crew was recovered OK but not the boat. Good arguement for tethers
and jacklines.
