C42 Engine and Westerbeke Generator Manuals |

I have just discovered, on my newly purchased 1994 C42, that the owners manuals for the 50 HP 4JH2E engine and the Westerbeke 7.6 kw diesel genset were not in any of the paperwork. Can anyone tell me a source for either of these manuals? I have been reading all the postings on maintenance and I want to review the manuals as I go through the process of replacing all the fluids and filters so everything begins at a known starting point.

Dan,
Good luck. It appears you may not live in the Torresen territory. Yanmar has regional limits on sales, which most dealers ignore for small items. Torresen does not ignore those limits, however. It creates a bit of a headache in the internet age. My regional distributor, Mastry, is not on line, and ordering is cumbersome. So I take it that unlike my previous boat's Owners Website, we don't have an on-line source for this material?

I downloaded the 4JHE Yanmar manual from the following website, it was free. Give it a try and see if it works for you. If you would like I could email the entire set of manuals for all the systems on the boat. They have been very helpfull.
