The two Catalina 42 burgees I ordered arrived last week and they are awesome! One will fly proudly on the boat and the other is being framed for the wall in my study. Very nice job, Dick, and terrific quality. Thank you.

We picked up the New Burgee at the 2005 Catalina Rendevous at Twin Harbor, Catalina - it looks GREAT. It is now hanging in my office, framed yet.

Just received our burgees also. One was already flying aboard this past weekend; the other is in for framing for the office!

Question: "Who is the Chesapeake Catalina Yacht Club "?
The reason I ask is when I sent in my dues at the beginning of this year, the directions mentioned if you wanted the club burgee, to send in a total of sixty dollars, (dues plus burgee). I have the cancelled check, but no burgee...any thoughts on this matter? This was in addition to the dues for the Catalina 42 Association. Rick, Troubadour, 0079, 1989 tri-cabin |

The Chesapeake Catalina Yacht Club is an all-size Catalina club that operates in the northern half of the Chesapeake Bay. It is not associated with the Catalina 42 International Association, although there are a number of members of the CCYC who are members of the C42 Fleet 5 on the Chesapeake and the C42 International Association. If you joined the CCYC and requested a burgee you should have received a CCYC burgee, not a C42 burgee. You can view the CCYC activities on their website at www.sailccyc.org. The current Fleet Captain of the CCYC is Al Lohman (410) 867-3384. Diane Benyus is the Treasurer (410) 867-3384. If you call either of them I am sure they will straighten things out. The CCYC is a very active cruising club on the Chesapeake. I have been a member for 25 years and am a former fleet captain. Please let me know if you need any help in receiving your burgee.
