Hello- this message is for anyone interested in joining a new fleet for Catalina 42 owners on the west coast of Florida. My self and a few others are hoping to have a meeting in the Tampa Bay area on a Saturday in mid August for those interested. Please respond and I will see that you get details.

I live in Punta Gorda and there are at least two other 42's here in Punta Gorda Isles, and a couple more at Burnt Store Marina. Don't know all of the owners, but one is a good friend and he may be interested and he knows one of the others. We're lucky today as Hurricane Dennis is passing about 190 miles to our West and it will be about the same distance or more from Tampa. Charley last year was enough for us and we sure feel for the folks in the Panhandle about to get clobbered again. Dennis is back to a cat. 3 as of 6pm and forecasted to slam into the Panhandle with 125 + mph winds and a 13' plus surge. MJK Splash Dancer II #94 |
