This is a reminder that we are always looking for contributions to the C42 section of Mainsheet Magazine.
The easiest submissions are write-ups about fleet rendezvous and other gatherings of C42's. Pictures may be included. Advance notices of events will also be gladly accepted. Anyone involved may submit an article...you doesn't have to be a fleet captain, or even have a formal fleet event.
We would like to have at least one report per fleet per year. Active fleets are welcome to report in every issue.
Short cruise write-ups may be printed, along with pictures. Tom Hawkins had a nice article in the last edition. Where are you going this spring? Take notes. Take pictures. Write an article. Share your trip.
Care to write a feature article? Please contact me to discuss your draft. It's been a while since we've had a C42 article in the Feature or Destinations section. We encourage your submissions.
Please note that not all articles are appropriate for publication, even if well written. We apologize in advance. Read the past issues to get a feel for the type of articles typically published.
The next issue should reflect a number of updates to the fleet captain's list. Please report any errors.
The next deadline is JUNE 1st for the August issue. All notices of fall events should be submitted by this date.
