This thread already has three somewhat different topics, but I will go ahead and answer your question.

On the late model 42's there is a small hole under the refrigerator door with the sole purpose of draining any condensation that drips from the door seal. It simply keeps the occasional drop from sliding down onto the floor.

The drain hole leads nowhere; it is simply a hole that drips straight down to the bottom of the hull. Presumably any water eventually finds its way to the bilge.

On our boat the drainage path was blocked by the spray foam insulation around the refrigerator box. I poked a small rod thru the hole to punch a hole in the foam that is in the wrong place. Water will now drain to wherever it goes rather than remain in the trough under the refrigerator door.

You can actually see the foam by removing the small wooden box under the oven.

The expected quantity of water is so small that it may never make it to the bilge, if you are the sort of person who cares about that sort of thing. (I live in a humid, rainy climate, and I see any attempt to maintain a dry bilge as a futile waste of time. You simply have to keep it clean.)
