I need to add macerator pumps and through hulls to my mk11. Apparently boats ordered to the great lakes had these deleted. I would appreciate any input on location of plumbing and location and size of seacocks for discharge. Did the factory use diverter valves in the deck pump out line or did they use a separate port in the waste tanks? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

My boat(SF Bay area) cam with no diverter valve. The large hose from the toilet goes to a dedicated thru hull valve but has a T connection going to the holding tank. When the valve is open, it discharges overboard, when closed, it goes into the holding tank. The maserator pump empties the holding tank thru its own thru hull.

Out of the factory, our boat did not have direct overboard discharge. We installed 1.5 inch through holes for each head and plumbed them through a diverter valve.
The aft through hole is installed between the head inlet and the aft holding tank outlet in the starboard stateroom. I positioned the diverter valve in the same location as the through hole. The forward through hole is installed near the forward holding tank outlet and access by the door under the pullman berth. The forward diverter valve is in the compartment directly behind the head.
