Just wanted to relate a positive experience with Lewmar. One of my 54's was showing some pretty bad discoloration so I called my dealer who referred me to Lewmar's West Coast rep. He asked for photos which I sent. He said he could not tell much but would send out a new drum and charge my credit card until they got the old one to determine if it was a warranty issue. I got the new drum and returned the old immediately. Got a call from the rep saying that it was not a warranty problem. I argued slightly because I was not sure. Within a few days the warranty person in New Jersey called and fully explained the situation , which satisfied me. Then, as a gesture of goodwill, he gave me a $100 credit (after billing me only 50% of the actual cost already) and is sending the old drum back at his expense along with recommendations for someone who can rechrome it.

I like these guys!
