Just wanted to pass on our experience with a set of davits on Escapade, our new Mark II 2 cabin Centerline (#837).
The complete kit was priced at just about $2000 . My partner , who is the original Scrooge, said "fagetaboutit!"
So we purchased the Davit arms only and he scrounged around for some stainless tubing which he fabricated into two support braces and two stabilizing arms. Saved about $800!! and it looks as good as or better than the original.
