Can anyone tell me the size of the jamb nuts for adjusting the valves? I would like to pick up one of these of the correct size. I have a 4JH2E.

If I recall correctly, the jamb nuts are 10 mm.

FWIW the valve jamb nut is 12mm. The is much easier with this tool...

I am curious. That gadget looks like a screwdriver stuffed down the inside of a 12 mm socket with a handle attached. Why would the adjustment be "much easier" compared to an ordinary screwdriver and an ordinary 12 mm box-end wrench? Does it do something beyond the obvious screwdriver and wrench functions? No that's it. Basically it eliminates the step of putting the feeler gauge down, picking up the wrench, and placing the wrench on the nut without changing
the exact position of the screwdriver. I've done the job with and without the tool. For me, it's much easier, and I'm much more precise with the
tool. And, according to my mechanic, it does matter to be very precise here.

Steve, I stand corrected. I haven't set the valves for a year or so on my 4jh2e... just don't put enough hours on it!!
