I'm sure somebody has solved this problem.
I have been using 1" plastic chair leg bases to cover the two points of my swim ladder where they come in contact with the transom. The chair legs are a great fit, and they do a pretty good job of protecting the transom, but they are not stable under constant UV exposure. I am going through a package of 4 every season and I suppose if I was anal about looks, I would go through even more.
Now that I'm getting close to cutting the dock-lines and heading south, what do the folks that live in the sunny climes do to stop this problem?? If I go thorough 4 a season on Lake Ontario, I'll need cases of them as a liveaboard in the Caribbean
Thanks
Addison
