Posts: 31 02/24/08 17:11:41	Tags : None HI gang, I have a question as to the placement of my grill, the best spot that is the in the way and trouble, I prob should have got a smaller one, as the only place that it stores nicely is the fward shower, doesnt fit in stern locker....lol....so..... As the season nears, I am realizing that I need to get my grill out of my shower and mounted on the stern someplace. I have been looking and looking but I am the only C42 in my state, imagine that only C42 for at least 300 miles. Anyways, I was wondering if my fellow owners could throw out some ideas as to placement of a magma Catalina grill, and ideas for mounting. Thanks Barry Surprise #998 3-cabin Pullman w/k

Posts: 79 02/25/08 08:40:04	Well the only two places that I can think of that the Catalina will fit are across the transom on the stern rail above the stern light/motor mount or along the side of the boat on the stern rail on either side. I believe the Catalina requires two mounts about 1ft/1.5ft apart from each other. You definetly need a solid place to mount such a large grill. Posts: 31 02/25/08 18:33:50	NO dioubt in the grill size, heck when I picked it out in the store, it seemed so small. then got it on the boat and it grew, lol....I just wanted to throw the question out and see what other owners had done. Thanks for the input. I am thinking of putting it on the port side, dont want to interfere with the stern to much, and I dock with my stb side in.
