Posts: 246 11/05/07 05:07:27	I carry spare belt, impeller, lots of fuel and oil filters. Then I carry spare seacocks(4) lots of wire and connectors, spare macerator, bilge pump, water pump, a/c water pump, rebuild kit for RO water maker. Spare hoses of varied sizes and lots of assorted size hose clamps. When cruising the Bahamas or other foreign destinations, parts and spares are either hard to come by or very expensive. In thirteen years , I have never had a problem with my well maintained auxillary. I have replaced macerators, seacocks , freshwater system components , and bulbs. The genset is another story. Do not know if this helped. # 466

Posts: 60 11/05/07 20:00:43	I find it kind of annoying the way Yanmar restricts their parts from only being purchased from the dealer in your geographical area. I tried to order some Yanmar parts from Torresen Marine (they have a really easy to use web site), but that order got cancelled because I wasn't located in their designated area. Since I'm in AZ I have to buy from Boatswain's Locker and they don't seem to allow Yanmar parts to be ordered on line. Ron Desperado 2000 C42/2 cabin #708 San Diego, CA
