anybody with an 1989 yanmar model # 4jhbe I am having trouble with waterway marine in
annapolis they can not find that model on there parts list. I need the part # for the oil filter for that engine Phil vizzini second wind #95 |

thanks jerry for the part numbers. Waterway marine found out from yanmar that the B in the
model # signifies a particular boat manufactuer in this case catalina our model # with yanmar is 4jhe Phi vizzini second wind #95 |

Phil,
You might find it handy to get a parts manual for your engine. It will not cost much and it gives you the part numbers for everything that is not installation specific. But better than that, there are copious illustrations showing how all of the parts go together to make up sub-assemblies and how the sub-assemblies are fitted to the engine block. I consider this a must have document if you plan to do any maintenance on the engine. I got mine from Torresen Marine (http://shop.torresen.com/marine_diesel_direct/Yanmar/index.php?p=categorydetails1§ionid=5674&parentid=5600&name=Yanmar+Parts+Manuals) for 25 bucks.
