I am ready to install my link 10. My setup has 2 Trojan 125 banks for the house paralleled thru the Perko selector switch and a dedicated group 27 start battery charged via a Westmarine 150 combiner.
For my link 10 install, I plan to parallel the negatives of both house banks at the xantrex shunt and keep the distance from the negative terminals to the shunt at a minimum (is this important?). For the two positive leads, I can only take them off one bank, as paralleling the 2 positive leads for the link 10 and the combiner will defeat the purpose of the Perko switch (is this true?).
Assuming I keep both house banks in parallel thru the Perko switch, will the link 10 and the combiner work as intended?
Thanks for any assistance,
Scott
