You may want to check out the post from several days ago RE breaking BBB chain. He had problems with HT slipping on his gypsy. Also, earlier posts had discussed a number cast onto the gypsy that Maxwell uses to show what chain will run on it. This was from last year I think and should be in the archives. Sorry I can't tell you exactly what to look for in the archives but there was a considerable discussion RE this topic there. Good luck on it... James Collins |

I'm using 5/16 BBB short link chain. Using BBB short link High Tensile HT I think is of little value as your anchor rode assuming you are using 5/8 line and not all chain, will part long before the chain itself breaks.
