Hi All
The Catalina 42 South Rendezvous is starting to take shape. You are all invited. We will be meeting in Poulsbo on Friday and Saturday, September 26 and 27. Please call the Poulsbo Marina to make your reservation as soon as possible. Their phone number is 1-360-779-3505. Plan to arrive on Thursday, September 25. The cost per night is $25.20 including power. Tell them you are with the Catalina 42 group.
The schedule for Friday and Saturday is still being worked out but I expect to have a sailmaker available to take us sailing to answer our questions about sail trim for the main and jib, instruction on using a cruising spinnaker and instruction on using a whisker pole. I am also working on having a rigger available to answer rigging questions and possibly a diesel mechanic to give us some ideas on troubleshooting our engines. There will be time to check out the town of Poulsbo and their famous bakery. Don't forget the tour of boats and the pot luck dinner.
This is an event you do not want to miss.
