Solaria is plumbed as she came from the factory....a dedicated thru hull for the head intake. I have no way to pickle the intake line, or flush with fresh water.
Our C30, Coriolis, had perhaps a better solution. The sink drain and head intake were on the same thru hull, with the T down near hull. I could turn on the faucet, backflush the intake, then close the thru hull and clear out the rest of the line...all fresh water when I left the boat.
What does everyone else do to address this issue? Should I replumb as described? Or is there a better solution? This is a charter boat, so all solutions have to be transparent....no complicated procedures.
