I had to disconnect the forestay to haul out the boat last weekend. It wasn't easy to get much slack. Any thoughts on how to get more slack when I re-attach it? I did ease the backstay to the end of the turn buckle and I eased the topping lift, boom vang, and main sheet. I also connected the jib and spinnaker sheets to the anchor roller and tensioned them. None of this provided much slack. Do I need to ease the lower and upper shrouds as well?
