Two years ago we install a Powerline 120 amp alternator from E-Marine. Since then we have tended to eat up belts every (200 hrs +/- 100). Yanmar suggested that we needed a metric pulley but then had difficulty identifying the size for me. A Balmar rep suggested using Dayco Top Cog belts, but I am not sure they are doing much better. Has anyone else installed a Powerline? They advertise in Mainsheet for Catalinas, but they have not been able to help much either, especially with the metric question. Has anyone else run into this problem?
