Most of the available folding tables, even with the drop leaves, are only big enough to accomodate 2 diners.

I know it's a bad time of year to bring it up, but I looked at a great cockpit table at the Annapolis Sailboat Show a couple of years ago. This custom teak table has both folding leaves and a slide out section that allows it to accomodate 4 diners when needed.

I decided to pass on the table so I no longer have the seller's info and can't find him on a web search. If I were buying a new table, I'd put a lot of effort into finding something bigger than the folding pedestal tabled from Edson, etc.


Next topic - matching the non slid pattern after you fill the holes.

You can make a mold of your nonskid from liquid silicon (spray the location you're taking the mold from with mold release wax). After matching the gelcoat color, apply it to the area your filling and cover it with the mold you made. Weigh it down with a sand bag and allow it to cure. The mold will transfer the pattern to the gelcoat.

Try this off the boat a couple of times to get a good estimate of how thick you need to apply the gel coat for good coverage.
