I have a 3 cabin and the year old Jabsco head in the forward head and , like other I have read about it is "black flushing" waste back into the bowel after flushing. Replacing the joker valve is only temporaty and my forward vent line is clear. I just think the the design is very poor. The rising elevation of the 1 1/2" wast line creates too much head pressure for the joker valve to handle.
Now here's my question. I was at Lowes this morning and spotted a very simple back flow preventer for sump pumps. Size is 1 1/2". Could this be install in the waste line to the holding tank? Has anyone tried this to solve this problem?
You imput and comment are welcome!
Thanks
