Has anyone come up with a solution to the water the collects in the forward section of "runners" for the companion-way hatch on the Mk II. This of course then gets dumped into the main cabin with any decent heeling. Don sv Anja K #510 (3)

Yes. At the time your boat was made, the factory was not sealing the space between the companionway and the deck forward of the traveler. If you have not already done this take tube of white sealer-poly-sulphide and lay in a bead around the opening from one end to another. This will prevent water from entering the runners in the first place. Make sure its dry first before you lay the bead on. The factory is now doing this on the new boats.
Good Luck.-Garry
