Hello Catalina 42 group,
I am interested to know if anyone has ever used a Catalina 42 for 'inspected charters" - greater than six passengers.
I am seriously interested in buying a Catalina 42 for charting in San Francisco and also for personal cruising to Mexico. I can find listings for bareboat charters for Catalina 42's in many locations, but no information about whether these boats have ever gone through the CG inspection process for more than six passengers. I would like to charter (day trips) with 12-15 passengers.
I have an existing charter boat (Soverel 36) which works well for 6 passengers, but I need a larger boat for more passengers.
Any info you could provide would be appreciated.
