I have a 1992 two-cabin wing keel. I replaced both mail and genoa two years ago. I went with Pineapple Sails in Alameda, CA because: they specialize in smaller boat sails; they do custom work; they build racing sails and cruising sails; their attention to detail is fabulous.

The full battan mail they built really made a difference in the boat. We entered a racing series and won all seven races in the Spring series.

The sail will probably last over a decade. The point being, you may pay a little more for a custom built sail but the product you get is significantly better than the cookie cutter krap that comes with stock boats.

The sails are your engines and I would think you'd want to have the best.
