Has anyone had experience with Catalina's supplier H&L Woodworking? I've been waiting a month just for a price. I've even emailed Catalina and asked them to intercede and they haven't responded. I'm capable of cutting and replacing my self, but the problem is the sole in the forward cabin is over 4 feet wide and I can't find teak and holly in sheets wider than 4 feet. Bob: I too am planning on replacing both the main cabin sole and the owner cabin in our 89 3cabin. I am looking at synthetic flooring that looks exactly like the original and holds up like iron. Some early owner cermanic tile in all three cabins so i have some excavation work in store. let me know if you want more info on the synthetic flooring.

Capn Rod: the name of the company I found best suited to my purposes and recommended by Practical Sailor is Tek-Dek International. check out their website. My neighbor in Tortola did his maincabin with Tek-Dek and it looks great!. good luck tom

Whatever synthetic "pergo-type" material Catalina uses today **doesn't** wear like iron. I've been very dissapointed. It scratchs and marrs easily. Also the backing material is too soft, so if you drop something, it leaves a very big dent.
