			<description><![CDATA[ There is a bit of slack in the pipe between the pump and the manifold. If the damage is  not too far up the pipe, you can remove the Whale fitting, cut off the
bad piece and reinstall. You might also shift the pump slightly on the plwood base if needed. Mine is just held down with 4 x 1 1/2&quot; #10 oval head screws.

If all else fails then a couple of Whale 15mm straight couplings and a short piece of blue tubing will fix the problem. Just be prepared to do a Harry Houdini,

			<description><![CDATA[ They have connectors that you can splice the whale system water pipe and you can buy the water pipe too.... Look on page 523 of the West Marine Catalog ....
You can also go from the 15mm whale hose to standard water hose... If you need further ionfo add a post

			<description><![CDATA[ I don&#39;t think you can splice the rigid pipe so it depends on what kind of damage it suffered and you may have to get a replacement.

The water systems on the 42 that the factory supplies is actually quite good. It&#39;s made by Whale and here is their website.
