I have a two cabin pullman, #633. I am changing the forward sanitation hoses. I was able to remove (by cutting it off) the hose from the head to the holding
tank I am not able to do the same with the hose from the holding tank to the macerator.

I am looking for suggestions on how to get these hoses off.

Do you think it is necessary to change the hose from the deck pump out to the macerator. If so, how do you do it?

Well I did the dirty deed.

After a lot of tugging, pulling and heating with no success I cut the @#$%^ hoses off with a dremel tool. Cut vertically down the hose making sure you do not
cut the barb. The hoses came off with almost no work.

Replacing the hoses with a lot of liquid soap and a 1850 watt hair dryer made short work of the rest.

I still need to get a hose from the macerator to the ball valve, looks like 1'' or perhaps 3/4". Does anyone...

Just did mine too after 14 years... no build up..The only place the hose ( old black type) was seeping ( looked moist but no wetness)a bit was by the tank
where it went over the edge and had a stress point. My hose in the aft head was 10' with vent hose at 8'

We keep our thru holes closed but on a previous boat they did not. The build up in the hose from the thru hole to the pump was incredible. The effective ID
was reduced to less than 1/2 the inside diameter! So I would definitely look at replacing it. As Vela42 indicated, you are in deep enough to go all the way.

A heat gun makes for easier on and off. I also used a little soft soap for the install.
If you are already in that deep I would replace them, older hoses can emit odors.
