			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Peel back the heat blanket on the exhaust line near the heater and see if the exhaust has cracked. It is pretty old.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I&#39;ve been dealing with our circa 1990 heater that came with the boat since 1999.  They are a bit touchy.  The O-ring Bruce refers to could be an issue
but only if the smoke is coming into the cabin through the heat vents.  If it is heavy white smoke out the exhaust it means the fuel isn&#39;t burning but is
only vaporied.  This usually meanst the burner is dirty and needs to be taken apart and cleaned - this is where you will learn about the O-ring.

			<description><![CDATA[ I had the same problem in my 36. The cause was an &quot;o&quot; ring somewhere between the heat exchanger and fuel supply. This happened several years ago so
my memory is somewhat hazy, but it actually put raw diesel into the cabin, the Admiral was not impressed and refused to let me run the thing. Call the supplier
and don&#39;t buy his saying &quot; that can&#39;t possibly happen&quot;
