The new Sure Flo Smart 5.7 gpm pump is much quieter than the 2001 3.4 gpm pump that died. Easier to install too.with the new plumbing fittings. The upgrade
in water pressure is great and will just make us run out of water faster, especially using the shower but then we will be clean! Thanks for the assistance.

The Amazon connection is absolutely true. Amazing to see it.

Aren't Shur-flo and Jabsco the same pump?? I installed a Shur-flo 4.5 VSD and apart from some very minor cosmetic differences, they look like the same
pump. Even the quick connect fittings are inter-changeable??

Your answer cracked me up because that is exactly what I did when changing out the pump -- I hired the skinniest boat-neighbor I could find at the marina and
paid him in vodka to crawl into the inaccessible spot.

I have installed this pump, it is very quiet and smooth and gives good water pressure - best you hire a midget or a very small person to install the pump -
otherwise be prepared to loose some skin. Keep the bandages handy. My question to Catalina: - why would you put the water pump in that particular
spot??

My pump which just failed is a Shur Flo (gpm to be determined after pulling it out). It has performed well if a bit noisey. I am looking at the newer
quieter Shur Flo Extreme Series in the Fisheries catalog and going for the 5 gpm model.

IS there anyone who can say if this is a good choice of pumps or bad? I notice it does draw 10 amps and assume that is at full power but then I have 8 gel
golf cart batteries that are just asking for exercise.

I only want to do this...

I have a Jabsco Sensor-Max VSD model #31755-0000 which is a variable speed 4.5 GPM water pump. It runs quiet, is self priming and can run dry. I'm sure you
can buy these through many marine distributors but in case you need to contact them directly they list their USA corporate office as:
