Don has a new 130% 8oz Dacron Genoa with a White Sunbrella cover and reefing luff. The sail was built originally for Hull #329. We ended up replacing it as the
buyer wanted a lower clew. This sail is brand new and a perfect sail. The sail retailed originally for $3600, I would let it go for $2000, plus shipping and
tax if within CA.

G'Day David,
I'm not the one who is selling this sail but I can perhaps answer a couple questions that you posed.
From the appearance of the letter, it seems that this is a Quantum sail and not a Catalina sail. In addition, when they talk about a reefing luff it typically
means that there is either tapered foam or rope material built into the luff to take out the sag that typically happens to the middle of the sail when you
partially roll the headsail up onto the forestay....

Hi
This is David from Australia

Is this sail still available? if so Can you please clarify your terminology of reefing, we reef mains out here and "furl" head sails I am hoping this
is what you mean ie, the sail has a Luff Rope to fit into the aluminium extrusion on the forestay, mine being a Scheafer.
I would have to check some freight costs but it may be viable. Is the sail a genuine Catalina product?

Thanks for your time, and as you say Have a nice...
