        <![CDATA[ There was recent discussion regarding halyards banging inside of the mast and the concensus was due to the bend in the mast.  However, I have a new twist.  Using the scientific method of placing my ear to the mast, the sound appears to be coming from much lower; near where the boom attaches to the mast.  I thought all the wires were routed through a pipe or channel.  Any thoughts?

            The wires are in a channel.  However, the Halyards are not.  Our experience has been that it's the halyards that make the racket.  Sometines halyard tension adjustment can help.  I have also heard of pulling blocks of some material like solid foam through the mast.  It requires pieces of foam attached to a line.  The foam blocks are anchored to the line so that when the assembly is pulled through the mast, there are blocks approximately every 10 feet.  The line is then... ]]></description>
