I need to replace the 11 gallon water heater on Hull #596, 2 cabin. Apparently they are very subject to electrolysis, and apparently Seaward (Tom?) will include an anode to aboid future problems. Seaward says to just replace the interior tank. I assume you disconnect it and slide it forward out of the cover. Can I get it out the side door or must I go over the engine?? Any suggestions?

See these web pages I made up last year when I replace my hot water heater and riser. I installed a 2000 watt charger/inverter at the same time.

We a 1990 3 cabin, Hull 215. I have replaced the water heater twice due to some stray current in our marina. Both were replaced by SeaWard under warrenty. That was before I installed an galvanic isolator. No problems since then.

Anyway, the first time I removed it in parts by taking the square metal box off of the round tank, but when I put the new one back in I just removed the muffler and the riser at the rear of the engine and the heater went in right...
