Boat Weight

Ive had a number of people (motor boaters) ask about concerns about weight with the boat. We are doing a lot of work to the boat this winter (cupboards throughout, counter top etc.). Are there any concerns that I should be aware of, before undergoing major construction? Also, how much does your boat presently weigh?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I just launched my 1994 Mk I, after haulout that is fully optioned and had a bit over 1/2 the water (107gal. cap.) and fuel (69 gal cap.). The yard lifts said 29,500 lbs. I was amazed. I added the dink and accessories and filled the tanks and figure I was well over 30k. She seems to sail like a rocket with the clean bottom. All is good.
S/V Jah Mon,1994, Mark I,Hull #428,Two Cabin,Fin Keel,Anacortes, WA,Puget Sound PHRF 122
