            I want to rig an inner forestay on Sundowner ,a 1992 Mk1.<br>
            Do you know where the cable conduit is run inside the mast as i dont want to drill into it whilst placing the fittings. <br>
            Also where are your staysail sheets run to, did you fit a new track on the deck?<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Our c42 came with an inner forestay and runners, it seems to be well thought out.<br>

            The inner forestay turnbuckle has self storing wrenches for quick, tool free conection.  Connection double padeye is backed with a cable under the anchor locker to a plate on the bow at the waterline.   <br>

            We have an inner forestay on our C42 MKII. Instead of being removable, it is permanent with a roller furling and a heavy weather sail. The engineering was done by Catalina. We find that there is enough separation to tack our 110, or 135 jib. If you want to see some picture head to www.salacia.ca and go the the first photo album.
