			<description><![CDATA[ I own a 1992 two cabin.  It seems to strange to even me, but there is absolutely no doubt that I get much better performance on a starboard tack than on a port tack.  The difference of about 1/2 a knot is obviously to everyone.  Can anyone think of a logical explanation? ]]></description>

            Anyone know of any short term moorage avail in Annapolis.  I am finishing work on the boat in Annapolis and it will soon trnasit to New England for the Newport to Bermuda.  The yard wants up to $45s a day short term.  Ouch.  Any one know of any sub lease short term for the next few weeks at a better rate?  <br>

			<description><![CDATA[ I just returned from 15 days in the Abbacos, I quick counted 12 Catalinas moored in Hopetown harbor, out of about 40 boats total that is quite a showing.<br>
            3-4 42,s  4 38,s some 36,s and 1 34, I did not get a chance to check out the several small marinas.<br>
            All in all that is quite a showing, oh by the way only 2 Hunters. <br>

			<title><![CDATA[ Weather helm ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ For the first time, today we got the Sutlej (#920) out in a decent wind of about 15 knots.  On port tack it was nicely balanced, but when we shifted to starboard tack there was a significant amount of weather helm.  Is this normal?  Every thing was basically the same.  We even tried taking reefs in the main and genoa, all without effect.<br>

			<title><![CDATA[ PHRF Sail Ratings ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I am attempting to update my PHRF rating for my C42 including my new asymetric spinnaker.  It has values I am not familiar with like SLU, SLE, ASMG, ASF, ASA.  I think SLU= luff, SLE=leech, ASF= foot but I don't know what ASMG or ASA represent.  Anyone out there know what these mean and how to measure?  Any source for this information you can suggest?<br>
