I use the midship cleat for the spring line, but that results in pulling the bow in. Wondering if there is a formal word on the Stability number of the MK1. I know these things are variable based on weight, rig, sail plan etc...But wondering if there is a sense, formal or otherwise, of the original factory designed/delivered boat.

Probably won't save money but very few good used 42's available here and most are ex charter boats.
