			<description><![CDATA[ After reading about the fuel supply issues that were solved with a correct fuel filter, I was wondering if I had too many bad things in one of my tanks as I get those slow downs in RPMs but only occaisionally and only off the aft tank.<br>

            Is there a recognized technique for cleaning out the fuel tanks?  OR should I find a good service?  <br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Has anybody had this problem?  My friend, owner of &quot;Fly'n Bry'n (#135) has had two incidents of the following. Coming into the slip, in neutral, and shifting into reverse, the boat accelerated forward and into the dock.  Damage was mimimal but so far he has yet to isolate the problem.  <br>

            We tested the boat in the slip, forward/revese, under power with no problem.  But the problem reoccured when we took the boat out and returned. <br>

I've heard that if you have dive tanks on board you can blow the blockage free.  Sailing in So. Calif., the kelp can be very  trouble some at times.             Boat not used for 3 weeks, else used constantly.  Engine started up beautifully.  Nothing &quot;on&quot; down below.  Electronics on. MaxProp.  Off mooring can't get rpms.   Boat normally cruises 2800-3200 rpms.  Can only get 1800-2000 rpms in gear<br>

			<title><![CDATA[ Yanmar injectors ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ My 4JH3E engine seems to need more than it's usual share of TLC this season. At 1600 hrs I replaced the exhaust riser no problem, but with my head in the engine compartment, I notice an unusual ominous rattling noise out of gear at idle. Seems to be coming from under the valve cover but not typical valve/injector noise. Not water pump or alternator bearings. Yanmar thinks I should pull and test the injectors. That requires a special tool and is big, expensive job. My questions: <br>... ]]></description>

            What should be used: 2, 10 or 30 micron filter??<br>
            Yanmar says 30 micron and 10 micron on the secondary filter.<br>
            A very large Catalina dealer says 2 micon on the primary filter.<br>
            Has anyone had problems using a 2 micon filter on the primary filter??<br>

			<title><![CDATA[ Corrosion on exhaust mixer ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a lot of thick rust around top edge of big hose that goes into the muffler, right around where the smaller water injection arm attaches. Can't tell for sure if it is water leaking from where the injection hose attaches or if it's the weld. Have 1600 hrs on engine. The hoses are looking a bit ragged also. Who has replaced the exhaust mixer/hoses at what hours? Has anyone had it rewelded?<br>
