ST-50 Instruments

I upgraded my instruments and have the ST-50's available for whatever you think they're worth, plus the cost of shipping. These are the heads only -- my transducers and wind sensor all matched with the new instruments.

The set includes a tri-data, a wind direction/speed instrument, and a tri-data repeater for the nav station. Everything works except maybe the knot meter. I sent it to Raymarine, who bench-tested it and pronounced it good, but it still gave...

A fellow member of my Yacht Club gave me a set of seven screens from a C42 he owned and sold years ago. The screens are Lewmar metal edged and all but one are in perfect shape. The large one just needs to have screening reattached or replaced then it will be perfect too. They came from an early 1990s C42. I don't know exact year. inflatable dingy

I will have a one year old fully inflatable dingy for sale soon . The dingy was purchased from West Marine last June ( 2007 ) , used 5 or 6 times on visits to Catalina , and appears to be fine in every regard ( no leaks ) . I purchased with the intent to deflate the dingy after each use and store it rolled up in the aft lazarette on my Catalina 42 . The system worked fine , except I am too old and tired to deflate , roll up and store it after each use . I have installed davits on Lion Heart...

A friend of mine recently left town for an around the world cruise on his Catalina 50 and had purchased new North Sails for that event. (a good idea). Anyway he dropped off his 135% furling genoa and fully battened main (battens included) into my cockpit and told me to get what I could for them. These two sails could easily be adapted for a 42 and we are open to offers.

I would rate them at a 6-7 out of 10 with lots of cruising life in them.

Complete set of original sails from 2000 Catalina 42 Celerity #725. 155% furling genoa (needs uv cover replaced), Full batten main w/dutchman, dutchman hardware, and custom fitted dark blue sail cover and main halyard. These sails carried us to 1st place in Santa Monica Windjammers Cruiser Handicap Series and Del Rey Yacht Club Stein series in 2007.

Main and Genoa - Free to good home

We just replaced the main and 140% genoa on our Catalina 42. If anybody wants either or both they can have them for the cost of getting them. The genoa was made by Catalina. It needs a new UV cover but is otherwise in good repair. The main was made by Catalina is dirty but is otherwise in good repair. I am guessing the sails are origional to the boat (1999). Are they perfect - no - but they are free except for the cost to pick them up or to ship them to you.

Don has a new 130% 8oz Dacron Genoa with a White Sunbrella cover and reefing luff. The sail was built originally for Hull #329. We ended up replacing it as the buyer wanted a lower clew. This sail is brand new and a perfect sail. The sail retailed originally for $3600, I would let it go for $2000, plus shipping and tax if within CA.

My Catalina 42 was broken into and all the Raymarine 60 series Wind, Depth, Speed, Autopilot and the Raymarine Chartplotter/Radar RC80R Plus were stolen.
