Fleet 13 Rendezvous

Fleet 13 of Southwest Florida will be holding our first rendezvous the weekend of June 7th & 8th, at Useppa Island. Dockage is available, or you may anchor out. Any southwest Florida 42's are welcome to attend. For more info, contact me at dep454@aol.com .

Our C42's are the most produced 40+ foot boat, power or sail, in the world and, as a long-time cruiser/sailor on Lake's MI, Huron (and a wee bit on Superior) I've seen LOTS of C42's all over the Great Lakes. Your International C42 Association wants YOU to step up and bring together all our C42's where you live. Please feel free to contact us and assist in helping all of us make the very most of our C42's.

Catalina Yachts has produced 1,000 C42's and that's the most any builder, sail or power, has ever produced for boats 40+ feet. We can all benefit by sharing ideas and I need your input to continue to make our Catalina 42's the best boat anywhere.

Hull #1000 Celebration March 29th

Catalina Yachts is planning a celebration of hull #1000 at Catalina Yachts in Marina del Rey, Ca. on March 29th 2008 and you are all invited to attend. The Catalina 42 is the most successful over 40' boat in the history of production boats and this will be a great time to come down and see the additional factory improvements made to this vessel. In addition, the new Catalina 375 will be making its west coast debut and will be featured along with the 42. Details are still being worked out...

Passing of Harvey Duryee, Malocclusion, badbite2000

It is with great sadness I must inform everyone we just lost one of our members, badbite2000. Harvey & Chris Duryee owned C42 Malocclusion, hull 731, in San Pedro, part of Los Angeles Harbor. He loved C42's so much, this is actually his second C42. Harvey & Chris were scheduled to attend the C42 Fleet 1 holiday brunch in mid December, but needed to cancel at the last minute, for health reasons. Lets all wish his family condolences to Chris and his family.

The rendezvous will be held the weekend of November 9 - 12th. That's a holiday weekend for those that have that Monday off. The Treasure Island Tennis & Yacht Club located at Treasure Island Fl will host the rendezvous. The Club has just finished a new building which will give all are owners a great venue to enjoy the weekend. C-42 Orcas Island Spring Rendezvous

This is an invitation to any who can make it. We are having our Spring C-42 Rendezvous at Rosario Resort on Orcas Island in the San Juans.

This is a full service resort with lots of rooms and cabins if you don't want to sail your boat to Washington but would like to see a great fleet of boats all hanging out. We had 12 show up last year at Deer Harbor.
